Government contracts:
- browse the site Internet de la Région Wallonne  (Walloon Region website) to consult fair opinions (enter the name of the municipality then search).
- aide aux entreprises concernant les marchés publics  government contract assistance to companies.
 

Here are some recently achieved projects: 

  • the construction of the CPAS (Public Centre for Community Action)
  • the construction of a new school in Hampteau
  • the restoration of the Saint Nicolas Square
  • developing the road through Bourdon and laying new sidewalks
  • the « Le Royal » hall conversion
  • building three municipal plots of land
    in Bourdon : 3 plots, Vieille-route-de-Marenne;
    in Hampteau : 6 plots, rue Chavée

Here are the 2007 planned and ongoing projects:

  • promoting fauna and flora beauties as well as miniature golf (March- April)
  • water drainage in Hotton
  • the construction of the wastewater treatment plant (works will be finished by March 2007)
  • building Station Avenue in Melreux
  • the « En Rahisse »public roads, linking rue des Ecoles to rue Haute
  • the « Wood – Energy » programme (wood heating in Hotton + heat network)
  • the « La Souche » hall conversion in Marenne
  • the Werpin square development
  • the Fronville church square development
  • the restoration of the kiosk and the development of its around area
  • building three municipal plots of land
    in Bourdon : 10 plots, rue Grande

This is not a comprehensive list as many other projects are being considered such as:

  • Burying electric power lines and a drainage network and renovating public roads and sidewalks in the Ny village
  • water drainage in Melreux and Hampteau
  • putting up a wood boiler room with a heat network for the buildings of the Municipal administration, the Sports Hall, the Public Centre for Community Action and the « Le Royal »hall
  • the construction of a new municipal school in Hotton
  • the construction of an old people’s home in Hotton, derrière la Résidence La Strée.
